We laughed and appreciated all of your comments so we drew our winner randomly. Congratulations to our reverent music fan who gives thanks for the simple privilege of even being able to attend a concert. We are all lucky for roofs, food, and roads- what a relevant time to remember this. Enjoy the show GW, your name + 1 will be on the guest-list. If the rest of you have decided to see the concert either way I recommend getting tix sooner than later as it may sell out.
Have a great week everyone.
A night away from the kids with one of my favorite bands would definitely make me feel closer to free.
The BoDeans make me feel free by allowing me to remember that my life is more
inestimable. I think of people that live in war torn countries, those who live in poverty and those who live in fear of day to day life. I feel lucky enough that I can walk out my door and see a band such as the BoDeans. A great distraction from the realities of life, even if for only a couple of hours.
How do these guys make me closer to free? They make me want to get naked!
I would love a pair of tickets to the BoDeans concert! I once waited in line starting at 4:00 a.m. when they played a the Madison Civic Center back in mid-late 80’s! They play great music to groove to. My tickets were for front row. It was AWESOME. I’ve since traveled to see them in Milwaukee and Minnesota as well.
What makes me feel ‘Closer to Free’? Why it has to be: ‘Love and Sex and Hope and Dreams’! Of course – more BoDeans! Thanks!
