I live in San Francisco, but my girlfriend lives in Madison and everytime I get into town I want to go straight to Indie Coffee for great music and even better waffles. That places has a great vibe and on a sunny day the back patio is unbeatable. Great place to recharge to cell and get the lyrics together for the new album. As G would say ‘Aww yeah’
I love seeing G. Love live and I always hope I’ll run into him at a bar afterward. I bet he has his spots in Madison given the number of times he comes through.
On the captial, I love the old fashioned if I’m looking for Wisconsin fare and a gin old fashioned (my favorite drink in town). Brocach’s for creative drinks, good decor, and a corner booth for a good night with a few friends. Genna’s has a great juke box and a great crowd. If I’m not near the capital I’ll hit up the Library. great food, good beer, and just a cozy spot.
for the mornings Indie Coffee is my favorite hang out. the coffee is great, waffles amazing, and the back patio is perfection when its warm out.
I’d bring G. Love to the Malt House. Great little place with very little distractions and beautiful beer. It’s a place where friends can get together and chat it up in a simple setting and it always feels comfortable to be there. You can walk in discretely, sit down for a few pints and take off and it’s like you were never there. One of the most comfortable and unassuming spots in Madison.
Thanks everyone! Sounds like Indie Coffee is the place to be!
Free tickets for this one are going to Holly, but we hope you’ll all come out to catch the show.
