Today (June 28, 2011) the brand new record from folk troubadour Gillian Welch, The Harrow and The Harvest, will hit music store shelves nationwide. It’s been eight years since we’ve heard new material from this rootsy songstress, so we’re more than a little excited to wrap our ears around her latest collection of songs.
All reviews point to this record becoming a modern classic, but if you’re more of the try-before-you-buy type, you can listen to The Harrow and The Harvest in its entirety over at NPR.
