Reggae fans will be in heaven when Easy Star All-Stars take the stage at the High Noon Saloon on Friday (September 7). Famous for putting an island spin on classic songs, the band will be channeling the King of Pop for their upcoming Madison performance.
Speaking of islands, our thoughts will be with the resilient people of Haiti at songwriter Tracy Grammer‘s (pictured) September 8 performance at Art In The Barn. Donations gathered at the event will benefit Haiti Allies, whose mission is to “better [Haitians'] lives and country through education, meal programs, adult literacy, and reforestation.”
We hope you’ll join us for this week’s fantastic shows! We have more information and are giving away a pair of tickets to see Easy Star All-Stars below. Read on…

I want to hear Easy Star All Stars put a reggae twist on “Are You Experienced?” by The Jimi Hendrix Experience!
A Rush of Blood to the Head by Coldplay would be quite cool with a dub-reggae remix.
“Dark Side Of The Moon” by Pink Floyd! Just thinking about how “Money” would sound gives me shivers…
Austin – The Easy-Star All Stars actually already did a remake called “Dub Side of the Moon” … You should check it out!
I loved their Sgt. Peppers album, but i’d love to hear them do Prince’s Purple Rain. Classic!
I think a reggae interpretation of Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot would be pretty incredible.
Would love to hear a reggae interpretation of one of Bowie’s earlier albums.
I would love to here an All Star interpretation of Jane’s Addiction’s album “Nothing Shocking”. How cool would that be.
Tickets will go to Dan G—congratulations! Thanks everybody.
