True Endeavors is an independent music promotion company based out of Madison WI. We book area club and theaters with live music concerts that tour through the Madison area. We also manage conferences and private events.
A promotion company is responsible for the negotiation of touring contracts, booking the music venues, promotion and marketing, as well as management of the show. Oftentimes an artist’s agent contacts us, but…if fans express interest in certain bands we will research whether or not the band is on tour and if that tour can potentially be routed through Madison.
We live in a city fortunate enough to experience live music tours that primarily route through major markets. When you support these concerts it puts money back in to local businesses and in to the hands of hardworking artists. Additionally, True Endeavors does several benefits per year for various non-profits, and are looking forward to continuously expanding our outreach efforts.
We have lived in this community for many years and are dedicated to the idea that live music can and does matter — perhaps now more than ever.
Independent promotion companies are important because they keep huge corporations such as Clear Channel from dominating the local music scene. As an independent company, we are often willing to take risks on talented artists that large corporations would stay away from- even if it means a financial loss. Our bottom line isn’t just based on profit, nor are we simply about exploiting the musical flavor of the month.
That means we care about what people are listening to and we want your feedback!
