We’re thrilled to kick the 2010 off with a show from Cameron McGill & What Army. We anticipate big things in store for this Chicago-based troupe of indie folkers in the near future, so we feel even more fortunate to be able to present their music in such an intimate venue while we still can! Read on to find out more about the fascinating charaters who make up the band, and enter to win a pair of tickets to the show!
You may remember these guys from the Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros show late last year. This wickedly fun Afropop indie band recently recorded a live studio session for Seattle’s KEXP for your listening pleasure. Take a listen here, and check out their sun-soaked video for “Surprise Hotel” below.
(FYI: If you dig Fool’s Gold, you may be interested to know that the band includes several members of the equally impressive Foreign Born, who we’ll be bringing to Madison to play The Frequency on March 4th. You can grab tickets to that show here.)
