Dar Williams has long been one of America’s most popular and respected female songwriters. It’s not hard to understand the reasons as she playfully tosses poetic lines to your ears with her sweet voice. Earlier this month she released Many Great Companions, a collection of some of her most beloved songs beautifully re-recorded with the help of fellow folk music giants such as Gary Louris, Sean and Sara Watkins, Patty Larkin, and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
We’re thrilled that she’s making a stop in Madison while out on the road to promote her latest work.
