True Endeavors’ Justin Kibbel snuck into the green room before Murder By Death‘s show at the High Noon Saloon last Friday night to capture an intimate Soundcheck Session performance of “No Oath, No Spell” by frontman Adam Turla. Check it out below!
Before hitting the stage to perform before a packed Madison audience this evening, The Decemberists will be warming up their pipes and tuning their guitars to blissful perfection this afternoon at Overture Hall (tickets still available here).
Want to score a pair of passes to hang out during the band’s pre-concert soundcheck? All you have to do is leave a comment with at least three songs that you’d like to hear the band run through before the show.
Please have your comments posted by noon today (4.19.11). A winner will be chosen and notified shortly thereafter. Good luck!
*Note: This giveaway is for admission to the band’s soundcheck only and does not include tickets to tonight’s concert.

Occasionally we stumble in to the opportunity to spend some extra time with our talented touring bands as they pass through town for a show. Tapes ‘N Tapes was kind enough to chillax with us and our video team at Madison’s own Blast House Studios. Check out this exclusive video performance of “One In The World” shot and edited by Ryan Heraly, Jordan Liebowitz, and Joel Hager.
Joe Ramos was able to get up close and personal with one of our favorite hip hop collectives, Doomtree, when they wrapped up their latest tour at the High Noon Saloon on December 5, 2010.
There’s a new Soundcheck Session to feast your eyes and ears on this afternoon. Ryan Heraly grabbed the following footage from Dawes’ recent Live From Studio M event, where the band treated listeners to their harmonious neo-Americana folk tunes. If you are into bands like Deer Tick, A.A. Bondy, and Langhorne Slim, you should be in heaven with this performance.
