Nicole Atkins and Co. To Rock Some Soul Into Madison Wednesday Night (03.02.11)

Don’t expect a warm or soft singer-songwriter type to take the stage at the Frequency on March 2. The loud and eclectic Nicole Atkins, touring off of her recent February release, Mondo Amore, has returned to form with a full-band blues-rock revival, psychedelic, and darkly harmonic sound. Atkins calls her latest release, “the record I’ve wanted to make since I was 12.”
