  1. For Backyard Tire Fire/Monte Montgomery:

Math. I hated dealing with numbers, and to top it off, I had the same teacher every year who would get angry with the class at the drop of a hat. I then took one accounting class in college, and ended up changing my major because of it.

  2. For Sunset Rubdown:

Normally relaxing after work during the week means a good meal, a tasty beverage (New Glarus Dancing Man Wheat anyone?), and spending some quality time with my wife. 🙂

  3. St. Vincent

Saintly effort? Putting up with my husband’s foolishness without throwing him into one of our local lakes… so far.

  4. Rain Machine:

    Thom Yorke (From Radiohead)
    Dump (from Yo La Tengo)
    Panda Bear (from Animal Collective)

  5. Rain Machine

3 incredible solo projects that aren’t Panda Bear:

    Atlas Sound
    Fever Ray
    Ramona Falls

  6. For St. Vincent– the most saintly thing I have done as of late was take a lengthy vow of celibacy and made the choice to abstain from marijuana and alcohol. I have also gotten more in touch with my spirituality. My progress lately is very appropriate for this question.

    • yes, that is my last name. BERG. I can’t afford both this and The Gossip Saturday, so I thought it was worth a shot. I am friends with Sonmi and quite love St. Vincent.

  7. Wow! It’s great to see so much participation on these weekly giveaways again! Great responses everyone—check your inbox to see if you’re a winner. If this wasn’t your week, remember to keep checking back. We’re always cookin up a new contest or two 🙂
