Eavesdropping On Marc Cohn’s “Listening Booth”

Marc Cohn

The “Walking In Memphis” songwriter will be in Madison this Saturday evening for a very special show show at the Capitol Theater to support his latest release, Listening Booth: 1970. The album is a collection of songs from the year that made grand impressions on his then 11 year-old psyche.

You can listen to Marc Cohn as he discusses the tunes that he chose to cover on his latest record, and hear his renditions of Smokey Robinson’s “Tears Of  A Clown,” and Paul McCartney’s “Maybe I’m Amazed” over at NPR right now.

Tickets to his show at The Capitol Theater this Saturday, August 7th, are still available here.
