  1. John Wesley Harding’s stage name is based on the Dylan album.

    The Killers got their name from the fake band that plays in New Order’s video for “Crystal”

    Those’re the only two I could think of that stayed within the realm of music, as opposed to Fall Out Boy (which came from “The Simpsons”).
