  1. Belle and Sebastian in the rain Saturday night at P4K. Wow, so good. Having my three kids there to witness it made it even more special.

  2. This year at Bonnaroo we had great weather, except for packing up in the rain. The most memorable moments included hearing from a kid in the audience who had a lifesaving operation the day Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros visited the hospital he was in. The band brought him onstage for the rest of the set. Also, I walked into a tent while singing “Free Falling” by Tom Petty (as he played outside). Everyone in the tent joined in with me. Oh sweet Bonnaroo magic!

  3. I was at SXSW as a volunteer in 2006. I was walking to my shift for the day when I run into Wayne Coyne on the streets of Austin. I said hello and asked if he was playing today. He said, “Yes, but it’s a secret.” He then told us where they were playing that afternoon and I got to see the Flaming Lips play a secret show for free in a crowd of maybe 200-300 people. They absolutely killed Bohemian Rhapsody.

  4. Who won this contest? Usually you announce that in the thread. Thanks!

  5. Ryan,
I’m waiting to get confirmation from our winner.
