True Endeavors’ Question Of The Week: Scary Movie Edition

Nosferatu

Ok, so we still have a few weeks until Halloween, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start celebrating now!   As we begin the countdown to the hottest party in town (that would be Freakfest), we want to kick things off with a scary movie marathon.  What should we watch?

Post a comment below with your favorite horror movies of all time and you’ll be entered to win a pair of tickets to a True Endeavors club show of your choice!  (Click here to check out our current lineup.)

Have your responses posted by 6pm on Sunday, October 13.  A winner will be chosen and notified shortly thereafter.  Good luck!

  1. When I was a wee lad, most scary movies (The Birds, The Thing that Wouldn’t Die,etc.) had their moments, but for real nightmares-for-two-weeks scary, I’d have to go with The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. That scene in the house with Don Knotts(!) scrambling around the house and ending up in the loft staring at the organ with the bloody keys (“and they used BonAmi!”)…and then it starts playing. Pure freakout. Atta boy, Luther

  2. I’d have to go with Event Horizon. Outer space tends to make everything scarier.

  3. Last October I had one of my strongest double features with “The House of the Devil” followed by “Session 9.” Both are slow, tension building films that payoff pretty well. They’re dreadful in the best sense of the word: full of dread.

  4. Josh is the big winner this week! Congrats! Check your e-mail for details…
