The gentle bluegrass and country-tinged Americana of Trampled By Turtles is making big waves in the music world this week.

The band will celebrate today’s release of their seventh studio album, Wild Animals (listen here), with a performance on The Late Show with David Letterman later this evening, followed by a Reddit AMA on Wednesday, July 16.

We’re proud to be welcoming these Midwestern stars back to Madison for a performance at Overture Hall on September 5.  Get your tickets now!

Just Announced Madison Food & Music Event: Yum Yum Fest, 9.7.14

Central Park – 3:00pm – 8:00pm

Food and beverages within the festival gates will be affordably priced, with most items available for $5 or less.

Early Bird tickets go on sale this Friday, June 20th at 10am at yum2fest.com for $10.  Tickets increase in price on July 20th to $15.

The newly-formed Madison Area Chef Network announced the details of their first event, Yum Yum Fest, taking  place Sunday, September 7 from 3pm to 8pm at Madison’s new Central Park on the near east side.

The festival features 26 area chefs serving a wide variety of dishes, plus four live music acts including underground Hip Hop artists P.O.S. and Astronautalis.
