Dessa Burglarized: You Can Help

Dessa
All of us at True Endeavors were deeply saddened to hear that our friend Dessa‘s tour van was recently burglarized, causing a devastating loss of personal and intellectual property.

If there is a silver lining in this ordeal, it is surely the incredible outpouring of generosity from fans and fellow artists to help keep this hip hop icon’s tour on the road.  If you are able, please consider joining them and making a donation to help recover some of the losses.

Dessa, Sims, and Paper Tiger (of Doomtree) added to New Year’s Eve Bill

new years eve party madison wi ten kid sister orpheum theatre

Yup, even more collossal artists have been added to the bill for TEN, our New Year’s all-night dance party.  It’s already promising to be one hell of a show considering F. Stokes, Dirty Disco Kidz and our headliner, Kid Sister are also performing. A free champagne toast at midnight and free breakfast in the morning doesn’t hurt either, and we still have more details to announce in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned.

Get your tickets here.  They’re still available, but they won’t be for long!

Special note:  We are donating $1 per ticket sold to AIDS Network. Ring in the new year by helping out a great cause.

If you were among the lucky attendees at Saturday night’s Joan Baez concert, you not only got to experience an evening of wonderful music from a legendary artist, you helped support an important cause as well. Silent auction donations and $1 from every ticket sold went to support Iraq Veterans Against The War (IVAW).

Joan Baez Concert Benefits IVAW-Madison

True Endeavors, a local promoter that we have worked with in the past to table at local music shows, set up the event and arranged for IVAW-Madison to be the benefactor of $1 for each ticket sold for the Joan Baez concert on Saturday. We were chosen from a list of local non-profits by Baez. Thanks to each of the 810 people who purchased a ticket and attended the show and thanks to True Endeavors for suggesting IVAW as a benefactor.
