Madison Week In Music + Ticket Giveaways (1.27-2.2): Hacienda, Say Hey For Haiti Benefit, A.A. Bondy, and Zion I

Zion I

This week, we’re excited to welcome a number of fantastic artists back to Madison.  Hacienda, A.A. Bondy, and Zion I have all played here in the fairly recent past, and will be returning to the delight of many local music lovers.

In addition to these shows, we are also proud to present an event later this week to benefit the victims of the Haiti disaster.  Say Hey For Haiti is a 6 hour fundraising concert event that will be held at the High Noon Saloon (and simulcast on WORT 89.9 FM) this Saturday, featuring performances by Mash’ Allah Reggae, Roots Collective, and many more.  All contributions–large or small–will make a difference.  100% of the money raised will go to Partners In Health.  We sincerely hope you’ll consider making a much-needed donation to this cause.

Read on to get the details on this week’s shows.

Listen To Hacienda’s Live Session For NPR

Hacienda

Those rock ‘n’ roll boys from Texas make their return to Madison’s High Noon Saloon next Thursday, January 28th to perform with El Valiente and Jeremiah Nelson (tickets here — only $5).  If you caught their red-hot set last time, you’ll no doubt be frothing at the mouth for more.  If you haven’t heard these guys yet, NPR just posted a great live session with the band to their website.  How timely!  Check it out here, and grab a free download from Hacienda (and others) here.
