FRZN Fest rages on at the High Noon Saloon tonight, where attendees will be treated to sets from FREE ENERGY, CALIFORNIA WIVES, THE FATTY ACIDS, and Minneapolis’ NOW, NOW, who recently fired off answers for Jonk Music’s Erica Matlin in their “5 Questions” series.   Check it out here.

Massive thanks to all who were able to join us for our inaugural FRZN Festival earlier this month (January 13 and 14, 2012)!  We had a blast bringing  such a talented group of musicians to the High Noon Saloon to provide some much-needed musical therapy in these frigid winter nights.   Squarewave, Polica, Class Actress, Dom, Chairlift, Juniper Tar, Carter Tanton, Caveman, Peter Wolf Crier, and S. Carey all took the stage over the course of the weekend.

Polica Hits The Public Radio Airwaves

Composed of members from massively-respected indie outfits like Roma di Luna, Bon Iver, and GAYNGS, it’s no wonder that Polica is already making big waves only shortly after the band’s creation.  We’re thrilled to have them in town on January 13, 2012 as part of our FRZN Festival (tickets here).

Listeners to Minnesota Public Radio’s The Current were recently treated to an in-studio performance from the foursome, and now online fans of the band can experience the beauty of the session as well.  Click here to check it out!
