Jonk Music Chats with Future Islands and Yellow Ostrich

Our buddies over at Jonk Music have been busy rubbing elbows with the artists behind two of this week’s most highly-anticipated shows.  Check out their interviews with Future Islands, whose meteoric rise have helped them earn an almost sold-our show at the High Noon Saloon tonight (Thursday, March 27), and the indie rock veterans of Yellow Ostrich (pictured) who will be performing on Saturday.

Head on over to our Music Calendar to grab tickets before they’re all snatched up!

Future Islands Hit Letterman’s Stage

Future Islands

“This is the kind of band that makes you wish other bands tried harder.” – Pitchfork

“A sweaty-good set of unabashed dance numbers and soulful slow-jams.” – Entertainment Weekly

“Future Islands are the saviors I’ve been waiting for… Samuel T. Herring’s chaotic energy is more infectious than a breakout of pink-eye.” – San Francisco Bay Guardian

On their way to bringing their synthpop stylings to Madison’s High Noon Saloon on March 27 (tickets here), Baltimore’s Future Islands made a stop in The Big Apple for a performance of “Seasons (Waiting On You)” on David Letterman’s Late Show stage.

Fans of artists like Twin Shadow, Lower Dens, Wild Beasts, and WU LYF will definitely want to check this one out.
