Tickets Going Fast!

“Much like Ryan Adams before the speedballs dulled his fangs, The Avett Brothers are experts in mining the heart and soul of the modern American man. Love is an obvious theme, but so is finding freedom and maturity. Their lyrics are tough yet vulnerable, insightful yet homespun, manly yet emotional. The kind of thing that makes the girls giddy and the boys envious.” —Paste Magazine

The Avett Brothers’ show on October 21st may soon go the way of Ingrid Michaelson’s and Wilco’s—that is to say SOLD OUT!  Tickets are still available but going fast.  Buy yours now, before it’s too late.

Artists You Should Know (ticket giveaway): Juliette Lewis

juliette lewis

“Lewis impressively embraces the dramatics of producer Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (of The Mars Volta), who takes Lewis into surprisingly dark territory. Keeping the hyperactive energy, Lewis convincingly mixes guttural aggression and haunting sonic effects.” -A.V. Club

Juliette Lewis is one of those rare breeds who can successfully and convincingly shift her talents from one creative outlet to another. Her work in films such as What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? and Natural Born Killers made her a Hollywood heavyweight, and now she is proving to be quite a contender in the musical ring as well with her characteristic take-no-prisoners performing style.  Still keeping in-touch with her acting roots, Lewis has recently completed work on Whip It, Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut, celebrating women’s roller derby.  Fittingly adding to the fun of her upcoming show at The High Noon Saloon, Madison’s own roller derby stars, The Mad Rollin’ Dolls will attend the October 4th show to meet fans and rock out in style.  Want to get in on the action for free?  Read on to find out how you can win tickets!
