The National Perform Six Hour Set Of “Sorrow”

That’s quite the setlist!  We’ve certainly been to a few shows here and there that seem to resemble marathons more than concerts, but The National‘s recent MoMA PS1 performance will surely go down in history as being in a league of its own.

Pitchfork reports that on May 5, the band played “Sorrow” (a fan favorite from their acclaimed album High Violet) 105 times.  In a row.  Over the course of six hours.  Six.  Hours.   We’re speechless.   Here’s the original:
