Could the current economic crisis actually be beneficial to the music world? Oasis‘ Noel Gallagher seems to think so. “I hope the financial crisis gets a bit worse – at least we’ll get a few good albums out of it,” he joked. Way to see the silver lining, Noel! In other Oasis news, the band’s tour of China has been canceled. In response to hearing about the band’s pro-Tibet affiliations, the Chinese government revoked the band’s touring license.
