Listen To Hacienda’s Live Session For NPR

Hacienda

Those rock ‘n’ roll boys from Texas make their return to Madison’s High Noon Saloon next Thursday, January 28th to perform with El Valiente and Jeremiah Nelson (tickets here — only $5).  If you caught their red-hot set last time, you’ll no doubt be frothing at the mouth for more.  If you haven’t heard these guys yet, NPR just posted a great live session with the band to their website.  How timely!  Check it out here, and grab a free download from Hacienda (and others) here.

Madison Week In Music + Ticket Giveaways 12.23-12.29: BoDeans

We have one show this week, but it’s a big one!  The BoDeans are returning to their native Wisconsin for what has become something of an annual end-of-year celebration at Madison’s Barrymore Theatre.  In years past, the boys from Waukesha have played infectiously fun performances to a packed house, and this year should be no different.  Read on to find out how you could win a pair of tickets (a $90 value) to their show on the 27th.  (Psst!  Concert tickets make a great last-minute holiday gift!  Just sayin’…)

Reminder: You Can Still Win Monotonix tickets!

monotonix

“But just as you’d have to be made of stone not to enjoy at least some part of a Monotonix gig, anyone who likes garage rock would have to be an obstinate stickler for originality not to enjoy the best parts– that is, the majority– of [their new album] Where Were You When It Happened?” — Pitchfork.com

Don’t miss what’s sure to be one of the year’s wildest shows.  There’s still time to win a pair of tickets to see the notorious garage rockers live in Madison on October 1st.  Check out our scavenger hunt here.

Artists You Should Know (ticket giveaway): Elmwood
